Here are a few issues in X-Plane 12 Beta 3 that have already been reported:

  • Magenta/Pink Flashes – This is a NaN rendering bug
  • Vulkan Device Loss Errors on some Nvidia 900 series cards
  • Cloud rendering quality needs improvement
  • Blurry Textures – this is a sign that you have run out of VRAM.
  • 3D Tree rendering needs improvement
  • Our team is actively working on these issues so please do not submit duplicate reports for them.

    All submissions are screened by hand so these guidelines help us to be expedient in processing them. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be processed.

    Situation: When flying on earth above 20,000 feet, the sky changes color from blue or grey to green. This happens on all weather conditions on Earth.

    What you expected to happen: blue sky above 20,000 feet.

    What actually happened: green sky upon passing through 20,000 feet.

    Steps to trigger the bug, including locations, settings, et c.:
    1. Take off in the 747 from KSBD runway 6, default weather conditions.
    2. Fly straight and climb past 20,000 feet.
